Artist Statement

As an introvert and intuitive soul, my inner life often feels more real to me than the outside world. Ideas and impressions almost take on solid forms in my mind. The ways they intersect and influence one another draw me in and inspire my work. The abstract, mixed media layering I use in my creative process alternately mirrors and guides these quiet explorations. I invite the viewer to join me in these contemplative spaces where thoughts, memories, emotions, spirituality, and beliefs layer and intermingle to give inner landscapes visual form.
